-really rough singing on this one but the chord progression is so rad and i love the “things dont change i do” chorus
-prolly my best song to date im not even gonna lie
-honestly idk what the difference between the two is, just different takes
-this show was so rad and my first show not playing at the barn. this song is good too, and i think probably the best performed of the whole set
-this was the oldest song i played for this show (i think i wrote it in february) and this song is damn hard to play when you’re nervous
-this song is sick
-while playing i was so stressed this song would sound bad because the guitar fell out of tune but honestly it turned out alright. the other take below this is better tho
-i really like this song
-i’m pretty mixed on this one. i like the idea of jesus driving a train polar express style, but i was going through it when i wrote it so it’s a tough listen.
-this one is really good. the first chord of the verse is a gnarly G chord i totally stole from an ELO song but i don’t remember which one
-i wrote this song in like ten minutes while i was really hangry. this one is also real good i won’t lie
-second take of a song i’ll probably never finish since it’s a little boring. the vocals are also rough on both versions of this track but i significantly prefer the first one’s vocal take

-i’m crazy happy with this video even if it didn’t age as well as i had hoped it would. this was the first recorded music i have put out in foreverrrr and is 3 songs i’m very happy with. i wish my performance (mostly singing) was a little better, but otherwise this video is rad. i wanted to make a live performance and was inspired by the visuals done live at Kilby Block Party to experiment with different effects and visuals. this video was a blast to make, although the rendering of the video took forever and kept crashing.
-each song in the video was all done in one go since i wanted to show what a live set of mine would look like. however, i did play the songs in a different order when we recorded, playing “i am god” last instead because it has a tuning change. i wanted “i am god” to be the first track in the video so i took audio of me tuning back to standard from a different take and stitched it all back together for the final video. i also was using my phone to record video, and using an app on my phone to tune the guitar, so i had to cut the video whenever i needed to tune haha. you can also hear me very loudly say “hey siri open TE Tuner” when the tuning segment begins.
-“i am god” is really good and the oldest track i still play. i think i wrote it in november or december of last year. the song is about people who take psychedelics and think they know everything.
-“brother” is one of my favorite songs i’ve ever written.
-“sailing on” will probably not be played again since i think i have other songs that do the same thing but better now, HOWEVER the visual effects for that song are fucking rad and deserve hype. i made the animation that plays behind me using a bunch of photos of flowers and it turned out so sick

-the singing on this is not good, and the writing isn’t great either, but it was my first time writing in a few years and i was going through it man. cut me some slack.
-the singing is sooo rough it’s actually so hard to listen back to this. and the writing is not great either. however i hadn’t played piano in years and i was going through it even more in this one than i was in song 2 so like cut me extra slack on this one.
